Why do I see a "Windows protected your PC" warning?
SmartScreen does not know CoreSpade yet. That warning appears for any new program that has not been downloaded thousands of times, and it says nothing about what the software does, only that Microsoft has not seen it often enough to have an opinion.
You are right to be careful with a warning like that. What you can check: the download comes only from this site, and every network is welcome to inspect the code. See the compliance page. The reputation builds up on its own as more people install it.
To bypass the warning: Simply click on "More info" and then select "Run anyway" to install CoreSpade.
Which poker platforms does CoreSpade support?
CoreSpade currently supports and recognizes the following major poker platforms:

Is CoreSpade allowed on poker sites?
That is not my call to make. It is the poker room's. So I asked them.
CoreSpade arranges table windows, maps hotkeys and highlights the table where it is your turn. It does not play for you, does not calculate odds, does not read cards and does not decide anything. On that basis it belongs to the category of tools that most networks permit. But what I believe and what a room confirms are two different things.
Before release I am going to each network directly with a full technical description and a request for a compliance review. Where each one stands is listed on the compliance page, together with exactly what the software does on each client. If a room tells me CoreSpade is not welcome, I remove support for that room. That is written into the Terms of Service, not just promised here.
To help ensure your account safety, I also include an optional Safety Assistant: a helper tool that automatically closes blacklisted third-party programs (like solvers or equity calculators) as soon as a poker client is detected, helping prevent accidental rule violations.
How does CoreSpade interact with the poker clients? Is it safe?
CoreSpade recognises three things at a table: whether it is your turn, whether you are sitting out, and whether you have busted. It uses them only to arrange your windows and to mark a table with a frame. It does not read cards, stacks, player names or any other game information.
Every table action starts with a key you press, and CoreSpade delivers that one action to the table. What CoreSpade does and never does is set out on the compliance page, together with the review status for every network.
Why is CoreSpade so affordable?
Because there is no company behind it. One developer, no office, no sales team, no investors expecting a return. That difference goes into the price rather than into overhead.
When the beta ends, that price stays for three years. Only taxes and payment fees are outside my control. After those three years, changes stay in proportion. A tool you rely on every session should not become a negotiation.
How does license verification work, and how do I register or request a trial?
Simply enter your email address in the Settings tab inside the app and click "Verify".
If your email is not yet registered, a pending account is automatically created.
To obtain a trial or purchase a full subscription, visit the Subscribe page and choose a plan.
Each license key is tied to one active computer.
To move your license to another PC, write to [email protected] and I will release it. There is no self-service button for this yet, and the app will tell you the same.
Why does CoreSpade require administrator privileges?
Many poker clients run with administrator rights by default.
Windows security rules require CoreSpade to have matching or higher privileges to reliably detect, resize, and arrange your table windows, as well as to ensure your hotkeys register instantly and without lag during active play.
How do I backup, export, or import my settings?
All configurations are saved locally.
You can easily export your entire settings profile to a backup file using the "Export Settings" button.
To restore it on any computer, use "Import Settings".
CoreSpade also keeps local backups automatically that you can restore via "Restore Backup".
How do I install updates and manage versions?
Not automatically, not yet. During the pre-alpha you install a new version by downloading it from this site and running the installer over your existing installation. Your settings file is left untouched.
The "Version Management" section of the Settings tab is where update notices will appear once that is built. Until then it is a placeholder, and new versions are announced on the changelog page.
Can I customize the news feed and RSS sources?
Yes.
In the Settings tab, you can enable or disable pre-configured poker news feeds (such as PokerNews,
Poker.org, Card Player, etc.) or add up to three custom RSS feed URLs to view your favorite feeds
directly in the app dashboard.
Are you adding more features or supporting more poker rooms?
CoreSpade is designed to keep core multi-tabling features rock-solid and lightweight at a fair price.
While my focus is to avoid bloating the software with unnecessary features, I am always open to
feedback.
